Chamber launches search for new Executive Director

The Board of Director initiated the search for a new Executive Director at its regular meeting, Wednesday, January 11, 2006. President Alex Copeland said that the Chamber will retain a professional search consultant to assist them and will advertise the position in the Delta newspapers as well as Business in Vancouver.

“We are looking for a strategic thinker, planner and motivator,” Copeland explained. “We need someone who can support the Chamber in its role as advocate for the Delta business community, build relationships with three levels of government, grow membership throughout Delta and manage issues of concern to Delta businesses.”

Members who are interested in applying for the position or who know a promising potential candidate should watch for the advertisements in the local papers or send their application directly to Timothy P.
