Translink tax on business -- your opinion?
The recently announced Translink tax of $9 million on businesses only in 2008 could have been $12 million by some estimates. As announced in the April 4, 2008 E-News, the BC Chamber of Commerce, speaking on behalf of all its member chambers of commerce in the province, had recently expressed disappointment in this decision of the Translink Board of Directors to tax only business properties in 2008. You can compare the Translink news release and that of the BC Chamber and express your opinion.
