Dealing With the Labour Crunch in Delta is the topic of the next Chamber Café: March 6, 3:00 – 5:30 pm, Delta Arts Council Firehall Centre for the Arts, 11489 - 84 Avenue, North Delta. Discussion will focus on how to attract, engage and retain employees in today’s tight labour market.
Participants at this Café will engage in deep discussion about what’s working for their companies; hear about the gaps between business opportunities and worker availability, and share opinions that can help develop new options for their organizations. This Chamber Café is sponsored by two local businesses: Carol Sutton, CJS Managing Conflict Positively and Jacque Small, Catalyst Business Coaching. Both have practices that facilitate business owners and managers to improve communication with employees, creating more productive working environments. They invite the community of Delta to participate in this collaborative conversation. Registration is now open; participant numbers will be limited to allow sufficient time for comprehensive conversations; members $20; non-members $25; 604-946-4232 >>to register>> |
